"Rants" by Akira
(2001-11-26)

I tried my best to make this comic strip as YAOItic as possible... "Yaoi" is Japanese term for a manga which has gay things. The original meaning of Yaoi was "Yamanashi Ochinashi Iminashi (no climax, no joke, and no meaning)" or "Irokenashi (no sex, I don't remember which was correct)". It was used for stories (mangas) that were extremely boring (like this comic ;)... I don't know why yaoi was used for shounen ai (boy love) comics...

Haruna is saying "baka" in the last panel. If you've watched "Nadesico", I assume you know the meaning. It means "fool" or "stupid" in Japanese. It is written "Horse" and "Deer". I don't know why it is written like that. Maybe there is some kind of story behind "Horse" and "Dear".
