"pOnju Anthology" by Akira (2006-10-30)

I'm currently working on pOnju anthology. It's only 12 pages long, but it's taking more than I expected...

I drew this SD characters of Kotone, Laika, and Haruna. Maybe I can use these SD characters for game or ScriptWriter.

Anime I watched while I was working on pOnju anthology...

1. Code Geass #4 (A+)
   Suzaku is "L" and Lelouch is "Light". That's my conclusion after seeing this episode (and from beginning narration). Two heroes (light/dark) and two opposing ideas (revolution from inside and revolution by destruction) became very clear. And nice way to end today's episode. I think first four episodes are very well thought. I hope this high level continues.

2. Pumpkin Scissors #5 (A-)
   Orland is such a nice character (along with Alice). I like the bottle joke. After that he was re-hospitalized in original manga. Next manga story arc should be "Flame Thrower" episode, but it seems like they'll be going for a filler episode.

3. Kekkaishi #3 (A-)
   Not a bad episode. Anime version might be better than manga, since scenes are strengthen by detailed actions and actings. I must say 'Storyboard' and 'series composition' people are doing very well.

4. Ghost Hunt #5 (A-)
   I like the fact that there are "mysteries" in the story and "ways" to solve things. Rather than just going for bunch of scary events, they are using mysteries to make story scary. I like that and I think it has a very nice effect.

5. Ayakashi Ayashi #3 (B+)
   This one episode might explain the backbone better than the first two episodes...

6. Ayakashi Ayashi #4 (B)
   One person has too much power... Four other members are becoming narrators of what's going on in the battle.

7. Kujibiki Unbalance #4 (B)
   There wasn't any slapstick at all. It was very quiet, but I enjoyed it very much, more than first three episodes. Rit-chan was a nice character.

8. Kiniro no Corda #5 (B)
   Chopin's Etude No.3 "Chanson de l'adieu" played by violin. Nice contest episode. Tsuchiura-kun~~ (heart).

9. Galaxy Angel Rune #5 (B)
   This one was quite funny. Dijiko and Gema appeared in this episode. But I liked the fact that the story kept turning and turning, over and over again... ^_^;

10. Black Blood Brothers #5 (B)
    Heroine is very cool (little bit violent though). Conflict of three groups inside "Tokku". They put a lot of energy on action scenes (like jumping between boats).

11. Gift #4 (B-)
    Story is going to the direction which I enjoy the most. If her torture gets worsen, I think I'll enjoy the show very very much.

12. Ginga Tetsudou Monogatari #4 (C)
    Name "Misery"... -_-; I wonder what happened to her at the end...

13. Otomeha Bokuni Koishiteru #4 (C)
    They are speaking a lot during a class out loud... I wonder why they don't get any attention? I hope Takako-sama gets more screen time... Ichiko-chans speaks a lot, and I enjoyed morning bed jokes (very typical though). And ED animation always gives me a smile.

14. Shounen Onmyouji #4 (C)
    Stronger enemy appeared and more fights.

15. Tokimeki Memorial Only Love #4 (C)
    It seems like second girl (out of three main heroines) fell in love with him... More slapstick comedy/action with swim suits.

16. Tokimeki Memorial Only Love #5 (C)
    Typical sport contest episode...

17. Giniro no Olynssis #4 (C-)
    It was better than last three episodes. Quality of anime raised by small amount, I think...
