This should keep Haruna-san away from wanting a baby for a while. In Japan, a girl can marry at age 16 and a boy at 18 with both parent approval. Girls can marry earlier because their mental (age) develop faster than boys. At age 20, both males and females can marry without any parents' approval (since they are considered to be adults from age 20).
