When I was working on this page, I thought it will be the coolest fighting scene I've ever made. It turned out mediocre. Inking takes away dynamics from pencil rough drawings. I need to work more on inking.
Here are some vocabs Laika was using:
- "Ishikawa-ryu" - sword techniques of Laika's family. Laika's family name is "Ishikawa".
- "Battou Jyutsu" - Sword techniques based on drawing a sword from a sheath. The one Rurouni Kenshin uses is Battou-Jyutsu. I guess "Ishikawa-ryu" has "battou jyutsu" too.
- "Zero no Tachi" - "Sword technique Zero". Usually it goes from 1,2 and on, but 0 sounds cool.
- "Miyou Mimane" - Learning by just watching. Not formally trained.
- "Saitou-ryu" - Since "Gatotsu" is Saitou Hajime's (Rurouni Kenshin) technique
- "Gatotsu Modoki" - "Gatotsu" is Saitou Hajime's famous technique in Rurouni Kenshin. "Modoki" means fake/imitation.
