More Monty Python goodness! I've recently redone Sailor Laika's sprite sheet, so now she has a mouth. I mention this because I realize she needed a mouth in this comic. Oh, well. The old guy is from "Final Fantasy 4."
In case you're wondering "How would Laika know 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail?'" allow me to explain. You see, Laika only dislikes hentai and goofing off. However, when relaxation is deserved, she knows how to take a break (see Akira's early scripts for an example; Laika agrees to go see Kurosawa movies). Since "Holy Grail" is not all that H (Castle Anthrax aside), it's likely she's seen it once or twice when she's allowed herself to rest. While not a rabid fan of the movie, she would likely have seen it enough to remember the scene with the witch and the duck. Hence her statement. At least I didn't have her saying it in a bad British accent.
