 | "The coming of Reitasai, some more art, and some graphic design" by Totaku

 Well friends,
It has been a while since I have talked or done anything here in terms of rants or the like, but I've been a busy man trying to find a way to make a living while still trying to achive me career. But I will say that after nearly a year I finally got some motivations, but I'll save it for later....
First off, I wanted to bring up to all the Touhou fans about that Reitasai 5 is fixing to debut in about a month from now in Japan. As everyone probably knows, Reitasai is the big con that takes place every year where the Touhou fans get together to collect doujins, fan materail, and above all else, possibly meet the man himself, ZUN, as well as get reveiled the next Touhou games and any updates on big titles from the Touhou world. More will come as time progresses.
Next up I wanted to let you know I've been drawing some more and came up with an illustration of Shizuha Aki from Mountain of Faith of the Touhou series, I'm not going to go into much detail here since I already explianed about her in an earlier rant, but I will say that the illustration took some time and was some adjusting happened especially around the gradiant of the skirt. Other than that, it was an ok piece at most. ^^;
Finally, a familar person I knew ended up becoming my client of mine and had me do a logo for him for his"The Create a Comic Project" which is a project designed to teach children how to write comic books and he's gotten permission from several artist to use thier comics as templetes for the students to write up stories to which he will eventually host. He's so far enjoyed my services I provided for him and right now if anyone it interested I'm willing to do graphic design work or commisions if interested. You can PM me or contact me from my dev account, and we can talk there.
And that's all I have to say for now, I should be getting back to normal in a little bit and maybe I'll post some fun stuff and more rants.

| "Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and Subterranean Animism" by Totaku

Looks like this year at Reitaisai is going to be a pretty big. It's already going to be at the Tokyo Big Sight on May 25th but on top of that there's been some offical confirmations....
First off, Twilight Frontier has just confirmed that they will be releasing a full version of Scarlet Weather Rhapsody on May 25th at Reitaisai 5. So far not much has been revealed about this game series other than it takes place after Mountain of Faith. And it has to deal with weather getting out of control in Gensokyo which get most of the cast to come out in this game. If any of you had got the old demo back to Reitaisai 4 then I will inform you that there is now a new demo that is offically free for download here. So far like the old demo, only Reimu, Marisa, Alice, and Aya are playable. However there are a few new things too, such as a change to the weather system, a story mode with Reimu being playable in it, New moves for Aya and Alice, and netplay among some of things that were added. There's also a rumor that Youmu will be avaialbe in this too, but nonthing has been confirmed yet if this is true...
Also on another part of the news, ZUN has made an announcement on his blog that he will be releaseing a demo of his new game to the Touhou series called Subterranean Animism which will make it the 11th game in his series. This chapter deals about that some mystrious force is causing the sprits in the gysers and onsens to become restless and when Reimu and Marisa go there to relax, they discover that the onsen is sealed away by a youkai that lives underground. So now Reimu and Mairsa will have to travel underground to hunt this youkai to put things in order again. From the looks of it, alot of things from mountain of Faith are back and ZUN is going to ad a new system called "The youkai fusion system" which will have let Reimu and Marisa have a youkai to aid them in combat. This in a way implies that we will at least get to see some old Touhou faces return for another round. So far only Alice has been confrimed as of this point as a youkai helper, but more are to come at the very best three for each person to choose from. The demo should be avalaible to purchase on May 25th at Reitaisai for about 300 yen. Also here's hoping they will bring back the older bombing over those circle bombs.....
