I tried a different inking style for Mina in the third panel. If you look closely, you might notice some lines are very very thick. Thick lines give shadow effects on drawing and it looks more professional. I imitated a inking style of Kentarou Yabuki's "Black Cat" (again). I really like this inking effect, so I'm planning to use it more often. (Close up image of Mina on right. In my opinion, it looks better with white and black. I shrinked this image to 25% I usually work at 600 dpi for my comic strips)
Well I hope you enjoyed a week of "Magical Mina". There will be a short break next week (I'm planning to post guest strips). And after that, I'll start on a long Haruna's story arc.
