Happy Halloween, everyone!
I didn't realize it while I was doing the pencil drawing of this picture, but when I colored it, I realized that the girl's hair color totally reminds me of a pumpkin. So I decided to make it look totally Halloween. :)
One thing I miss from the States is pumpkin pies. I like it so much that I tried to bake it myself. The result was satisfactory, but when I gave a piece to my friend, he said that it tasted too much like cinnamon. Well, pumpkin pies are supposed to taste like cinnamon and nutmeg. So I guess Japanese people are not too familiar with the taste.
I don't see pumpkin pies so often at Japanese bakeries, pastries, or caf?s either. Even if I find one, it usually tastes different from what I'm used to.
Anyway, I hope people have fun at trick-or-treat or Halloween parties. Are people planning to do cosplays at Halloween events? I guess this time of year is the only time where you can walk outside in your cosplay outfits without being called weird.
