"Rants" by Romy
(2003-04-19)

She's sexy like in a James Bond movie, so I call her a Bond girl.Last week when I visited my parents in Yokohama, I gave my brother a huge box of a Gundam plastic model called Sazabi. I think he's still in the process of building it?good luck, my brother!

It was really cold earlier this month, but all the sudden, the temperature shot up and now it feels like early summer. I wish the temperature and humidity stays this way?Japanese summer is way too uncomfortable. I always have this urge to get out of the crazy climate.

Three things worth mentioning have started this weekend or this month.First is a theatrical release of RAHXEPHON movie. It's a compilation movie of the TV series, but it has newly added scenes and many borrowed scenes from the TV were redone to suite the movie scenario. The movie focuses on the relationship between the hero and heroine of the story, so I'm looking forward to seeing it. My brother promised that we'll go together to see this movie. (Thanks, my borhter!)

The next thing is TEXHNOLYZE. This is the newest title from Madhouse and Yoshitoshi Abe, the character designer from serial experiments lain. The same staff who brought lain to us, Yoshitoshi Abe, scriptwriter Chiaki Konaka, and producer Yasuyuki Ueda have gathered again to produce this title. I've seen the first episode, and although it may be difficult to grasp for some viewers, its artistic style looks promising. And the OP music by JUNO REACTOR is great! For a trance-techno music lover like me.

The last thing is Range Murata exhibit at GoFA. This exhibit features fashion items such as watch, boots, and clothes the illustrator designed in his drawings. Range Murata is really active these days for his second illustration artbook has been just released, and also a new TV anime LAST EXILE in which he did character designs also started this month.Unfortunately, most of the things are so expensive! The quality is guaranteed, so it's simply too bad?
