Here is a difference between a refined work and a rough pencil sketch. I think it clearly shows how well lines are refined using the latest drawing applet :) One of the nice thing about refining lines using the program is that I can make lines thinner very easily. Making lines thinner is one of the keys to make a beautiful picture.

I draw a rough sketch on a paper first. Then I scan and load the image to the drawing applet. I just go over the lines. It's pretty easy and it looks great.
