"Yu-Gi-Oh parody" by Akira
(2005-10-17)

(If my memory is right), using "Draw Four" (or wild card) for the last card is illegal in "UNO", but I wanted to go with it in order to make comic strip dramatical and funnier (^_^;).

I hope people can see why this parody took so long to finish. I had to immitate Yu-Gi-Oh drawing as closely as possible. Otherwise the joke doesn't kick in at the last panel... Since the drawing style of Yu-Gi-Oh is quite similar to my normal drawing style (uses thick lines and screen tones), it wasn't that difficult to immitate Kazuki Takahashi's work. I used comic volume 21 for the reference (Battle City arc). I'm pretty sure people can tell from which pages I referenced for this parody.

"World of Warcraft" by Konstantin
(2005-10-18)

This is Kaska. She's stabby. Short rant courtesy of procrastination and World of Warcraft, in about equal amounts. That game has ruled my life in regular intervals ever since I got into the beta over a year ago, and it looks like at the moment, with our guild raiding Molten Core and me being tasked with helping to keep our rogues into shape, WoW's grip is growing stronger. At least until I get around to getting hooked on the new anime season. ^^

While not my first MMORPG (that distinction is held by the venerable RO), it is by far the funnest and most addictive one I've played to date. Just when I think I've kicked the habit and start catching up on anime, another content patch comes out, and I come crawling back to Kaska, my Orc Rogue (named, as many have probably guessed, after the character from one of my favorite manga, Berserk). If anyone's playing Horde on the Mannoroth server, gimme a yell, would be interesting to see if any of the readers here are also playing.
