- Still Behind - Originally, I wasn't planning to do yesterday's strip. In my rough layouts, I went straight to today's strip. But since a lot of people enjoyed the preview at TC forum, I decided to extend the story preview to two pages. I think I came up with a decent page, eventhough the I had to do the page without planning. Thought an extra page was one of the reasons why schedule got delayed so much. I'll work on the page when I get back from work tonight.
- Mai - I didn't want to make Mai too scary/insane by making her hold weapon (knife, axe, sickle), like most people speculated in the forum. She's had enough troubles/pains already in the past, I feel really guilty if I torture her more. Anyway, Ken has to be with Mai, or otherwise I'll make sure he'll suffer as much as possible.
- Mechanical Dragonfly (IT Media) - Remote controlable dragonfly-type airplain (helicopter?). It's amazing they can make a machine fly like that. The same company made indoor helicopter "Honey Bee" last year.
- Lucky Men (YouTube) - Lucky Star and Kishimen song.
- Lalala Coppe Pan (YouTube) - They made a lyric for the Lucky Star song
- Touhou Mad - Yoiyami no Koimusume (YouTube) - Toho AMV. It uses the OP song "Kasabuta" from "Konjiki no Gash Bell".
- ScarletKnives (YouTube) - Toho AMV using OP song from "Pumpkin Scissors".
- Yukino Tsubasa (YouTube) - Toho AMV. I was quite amazed I could find a ton of Toho anime music video at Youtube
- on your mark (YouTube) - Studio Ghibli's short anime. I love this short animation a lot.
- Tainted Donuts (YouTube) - Trigun meets Cowboybebop AMV.
- the race (YouTube) - AMV where characters from many anime run for a big money.

| "Rozen Maiden manga drama" by Totaku (2007-06-01) |
As of just a few days ago, the Rozen Maiden manga came to an end in Japan. And being a Rozen Maiden fan, I thought I'd go through and explain a few things about what occured from it. If any of you have been following up on the Rozen Maiden manga in Japan you probably know that PEACH-PIT has been having thier share of problems with the keeping up with BIRZ's contract and there were actually several issues revolving around how PEACH-PIT would fair out in completeing the story.
Then back a few months ago, the manga was pulled off by BIRDZ for "some sort of circumstanes" and remain in hiding till a month ago when BIRDZ announce the final phase to Rozen Maiden would be release.
When the final chapter was unvailed to the public...without spoiling the story....the best that I can say is everything ended very abruptly. So abruptly that it was almostly like watching the last two epiosde of the Evagalion TV series.....it made no sense.
At first it appeared something would happen that would reach an interesting climax, but it all crashes down at the very last page when a bizzare Dues Ex Machina is pulled out of the blue and we reach "the end of an era".
I've looked around the net to see how people saw this. And as expected they were not pleased. This was probably the biggest argument I've heard about a manga serie in a long time. And I can understand why because the fan feel they were taken away from what would of shaped up to be a good ending.
Here's hoping that if PEACH-PIT reaches an agreement for a season 3 anime, they fix the wounds they have caused with the manga.
-Till next time.
Ja Matta. ^^
