Experimental Comic Kotone #18 "Lend Me a Hand"
(Story Arc: Laika)

"Rants" by Akira
(2001-10-25)

Today's comic strip is quite black humored. I'm not sure if people like this or not... I'm sorry if it made you sick or something. There is an explanation why there isn't blood splashing out from his hand. While cutting, Laika closed arm's blood vessels by her controlled ki, so that blood don't flow out from the wound. Laika is an expert in her ki and sword technique, an I'm sure Onii-chan's hand was safely reconnected later. But still I feel very sorry for Onii-chan.
I usually shade with pencils, but today I shaded using Photoshop. Most people might think painting will be easier with computer, but not really... The selecting the area is pain in an OSHIRI (Japanese word for butt). It is much easier to do with hands.
