"Rants" by Akira
(2002-02-27)

"Douitashimashite" means "You're welcome". It is often used to reply "Arigatou gozaimasu (Thank you very much)". It's very polite.

At Onii-chan's house, everyone (Kotone, Laika, Konstantin, Haruna, and Onii-chan) altenates chores. I didn't like the fact that Shinobu always cooked at Hinata-sou in Love Hina... I felt it was unfair. So in my comic, everyone has to cook, wash dishes, and clean their rooms.

Konstantin seems to come from a quite wealthy family. Before Konstantin moved in, Onii-chan had a very small TV, but now there is a 40 inch TV with a confy sofa in living room. Microwavable foods are rather expensive too (have to buy for five people!).

Onii-chan is pretty good at cooking too. He was living alone in a house before Kotone came in, so he is used to cooking. Laika is not a bad cooker, but she uses a cooking for a sword training. Kotone is still learning how to cook. Comic Konstantin is the only person who can't cook in Onii-chan's house.
