Akira's away on vacation, so I (Xuanwu) am posting guest comics. He'll be back Sunday.
First comic is more "Ask the Professor Remix" from C-Mind. Konstantin and Junichi yaoi! Whoo! You can find more of his great work at the Ask the Professor fan section.
Second comic is by Erv Kosch. For those of you wondering, he's using the Tentacle Man sprite I made (with permission, of course).
Third comic is a special "Ask the Professor" I used for the Weekly Drawing Contest for the theme of "Apocalypse." It did fairly well as a concept entry. Let me explain the jokes:
Red Sox are the baseball team from Boston, MA. They have the "Curse of the Bambino" that dictates they can never win the World Series. Ever.
Hillary Clinton is pure frikken evil. Her becoming President marks a definite danger sign for the fate of the US and the world. Then again, I dislike most politicians. She just gets my rancor up because of all the lies she gets away with telling.
If you don't know why Richard Simmons being made the Pope is funny, I can't really help you. Sorry.
And eventually I'll get around to explaining why the Professor tends to watch TV outside. Maybe he likes the fresh air? And the chance to oggle passing babes?
Fourth comic is another "Ask the Professor." If you didn't know, a running gag with Ran is that he dies whenever little things like poking or tripping occur (he's made out of cheap Russian parts). Rather than use that cliche, I decided to have him get a can of beer lodged in his chest. I think that would kill most people, frankly. The beer is known as "Wily Beer" and hails from Bob and George, though I made that can myself from a public domain sprite rip.
Also, Darkwing's original line is "Suck gas, evil doer." He originally shoots canisters of gas, not beer. But beer is funnier, don't you agree? That'll teach Ran to call Drakwing a "bloody poofta!"
