So at last, I bought a new monitor for my Mac.
It's an EIZO 17" LCD. The image is clear and it was a good buy, I think. Now I can finally resume working on my project as well as weekend illustrations. It was such a hustle to replace my old bulky 21" CRT monitor though. Ugh, it was so heavy. Plus, I have to call a special pick up service for old used computer monitors. They charge me like $50 for the service, but that's for recycling so I can't really complain. I just feel sorry for whoever is assigned to carry this ultra-heavy baby from the 3rd floor to the ground.
While I was replacing the monitor, I accidentally cut a speaker cord. ;_; So now I have to go back to a store to buy a replacement for it. Not only that, my unfortunate experience goes further with the tip of screw-driver missing. I was tightening the board to support the monitor (it was tilted before) but the tip dropped from the driver and I can't find it anywhere. I'll need to buy a new set of drivers, I guess. Or maybe the driver-tip will appear miraculous somewhere totally unexpected...(as it usually does).
Anyway, I've also uploaded a rough sketch for last week's illustration (Dec. 7th) of a bishie, clad in Renaissance Italy outfit. Hope you enjoy it as well.
