"Rants" by Romy
(2004-01-11)

Yeah, thanks for promoting ?Hagane no Renkinjyutsu-shi (Fullmetal Alchemist)," Akira. I know you like it a lot. :-E

Today, I flipped through some of my old picture books. I love looking at them. Some of the illustrations are simply breathtakingly beautiful and gorgeous. My mother bought me and read me those picture books when I was young. Some were in English, but she translated. I'm very grateful that my mother chose books with very high quality. To this day, the books made strong impressions on me and my heart throbs when I find the same exact copy still in print and sold at local bookstores. I also collect picture books.I think my brother introduced them before, but there are two tales with foxes that I love so much. ?Gongitsune (Fox?Gon')," and?Tebukuro wo Kaini (Buying Gloves)."(Both available at http://www.amazon.co.jp) Oh, they are simply classic!

One of my dream projects someday is to do a picture book with my original story and illustrations.
