"Luggages to Japan" by Akira
(2006-01-13)

I used different scanning technique for today's comic strip. I usually scan in inked page with black/white 600 dpi + threshold at 128. It's nice since you don't have to worry about any of dust and scratches with this protocol. But toady, I scanned in with grayscale 600 dpi + changed the image "level" so dusts don't stand out too much. The new way is better since it can express much much finer lines, but lines are not crystal clear like black and white... Anyway. Also it is harder to modify lines and select regions enclosed by lines... I'm thinking about using the new protocol from now on, since I like this finer effect.

I originally planned to do this strip (and last Nanoha one) last year, but I couldn't finish them as scheduled. I learned a lesson that it's not to give out comic schedule to readers beforehand. It'll most likely make reader disappoint (by the delay) and it creates a great pressure to the author (for not keeping up with the promiss) :^_^;:

New anime series began from January. I think I'll enjoy watching "Fate/Stay Night". Though, I should start and finish playing the game before anime ends. Right now I installed "To Heart2", "Canvas2", and "Lamune" to my computer. If I finish playing "To Heart2", I'll install "Fate/Stay Night". I'll spend more than 80 hours reading the texts. That's how long the game is.
