"Laika 7" by Akira
(2006-02-01 16:23:39)

Well, there was a small earthquake around 20:40 yesterday at Yokohama and it was enough to stop the train for hours. When I got home, it was already 0:30 am. I didn't have time to work on the comic strip. Please blame late comic strip to the disaster ^_^;

I like the design of Laika's mother. I think I drew her pretty cute. As you can see, the character design is "inspired" from Manaka Komaki from "To Heart2". I really love her hair-style where you 'up' the hair with hair accessory.

"When Zelda commercials get wierd." by Totaku
(2006-02-02)

Last week I was unavalaible due to my schoolwork, so I deeply aplogize for that. >_< I'm in my senior year so things are going to only get harder for me and if I have to face a situation like what happened last week I'll become rather busy so I just I give you the heads up and say that when I'm busy, you will know. ^^;;

Anyways, today I thought I share with you all something I have an interest in, Video game commercials. I've seen my share of commercials from here in the US as well as from other nations while looking for them on the internet. I remember many memorable moments in my life such as many of the old Sega Genesis commercials and some reall odd Nintendo commercials here.

However, one video game commercial has topped my list as I consider to be thw weirdest commercial and existiance, and this just happens to come from Japan. It's an old Legend of Zelda commerical for the Super Famicom (SNES here in the US). This commerical is just beyond words to describe the oddity of it. All I can really say is..prepared to be dazzled by it's weridness. XD

Japanese Zelda commercial for Link to the Past

But that's not all, I got a more recent Zelda commercial that for "Four Sowrds" for the game boy DS. It's rather cute and silly ^^. But it doesn't compare the other one.

Zelda: Four Swords Japan commercial

I'm certain you might enjoy these, so lemme know if you do over the forum cause I can always deliver more of them since I've seen many.

On a side note: I recall my sensei telling me once that she found some Amercian commercials odd and she sort of had a fair understand of my background and realized how I found their commercials funny. Make me wonder if other people here go through that same thing....

This does however cover all I wanted to say this time.
Till next time...Ja Matta! ^_^
