- Five Strips per Week? - I returned home around 11 pm yesterday and this is the maximum I can do with few hours left... I'm trying to do five comic strips this week to see how much it affects my time and health. It's already thursday and I have to admint, I'm really tired already... I can't belive I've been doing five strips per week for years ^_^; No wonder my hair got thin...
- Ookiku Furikabutte - I've watched "Ookiku Furikabutte" and "Kaibutsu Oujo" when I was working on this page. Anime of "Ookiku Furikabutte" was nicely adapted from manga. I'm a great fan of the manga for years and I'm really looking forward with this animation series. It one of few mangas which made me close to cry (I had running nose...). On the other hand, I like the concept of "Kaibutsu Oujo" - beautiful sadistic girl uses many different weapons (including chain-saw) to fight with monsters, but stoy telling was quite flat in the first episode. Anyway, there are so much anime series to watch this season.
- Kenji Nakano - Ken-kun's full name is "Kenji Nakano". Most people use last name "Nakano-kun", but since Mai (and Kasumi + Wataru) are quite close to him (good friends), they use first name "Kenji-kun". Mai has been using "Ken-kun" since they were small. They are grown up, but she still use "Ken-kun" to address him.
- Sound Familiar - If I think about it..., I might change Ken-kun's last name from"Nakano" to "Nakata" later. I know a guy who's name is "Kenji Nakano". No wonder his name sounded familiar -_-;....
- About Today's Strip - I like Mai from third panel. I think I drew her
mouth expression quite well :) I like a girl from fourth and fifth panel too because I think her hair style is cute.
- Amazing ANIME OPs - Konstantin was talking about how awesome the OP of "Lucky Star" was. There is some artist who did "Lucky Star" OP with Toho characters. Ther is a version of ""Let's Go Onmyouji" with "Rosen Maiden" characters" too (original is here). I must say these artists are amazing... I don't have enough drawing skill to do that.
