Maybe you've noticed, but comic strips are drawn using very thick lines. I've been trying to use thin lines for recent "LovSit" and "ExCoKo" series, but it seems like thick lines work best for me. To tell you the truth, I'm not a good artist and I can't draw a beautiful straight or curved lines. To hide my dirty lines, I redraw over drawn lines to make them thick. If I become a better artist, I can make lines thinner...
In order to draw thick lines, frames have to be big too. My impression is four to six frames per page works best for me. And if frame count exceed the limit, my drawing becomes unbearable to watch. Also if a frame is composed of a close up of character, it's the best. If I try to draw a whole body, it becomes too small to draw with thick lines. That's the reason why ?hfour-frame comic strip?h works best for me.
