I personally think more TC readers enjoy Konstantin's ending than Kotone's ending. I guess they are too much influenced by Professor Hasegawa and Konstantin?
I enjoy drawing Konstantin. It's a nice challenge to make him as handsome as possible. I thought I draw fourth frame very well, but when I saw it on a computer screen, it didn't look right. So I edit it a bit (mainly the position of the eye) using Photoshop.

As we continue on with the EoSD charater we will get to see just how many variations of creatures exsist out there. And let's go on and introduce the second boss of EoSD, an ice fairy named Cirno.
Cirno
Down in the misty lake lives a fairy who likes to spend most of her time goofing and freezing things for the fun of it. While make up the common enemy in Touhou there are a few faires that stand out. And Cirno is one of those cases.
As you can expect, Cirno's an Ice Fairy, and of course this means she capable of manipulating ice. So pretty much all of her danmaku is ice themed as expect.
Cirno herself is pretty much a fairy who is extremely overconfident and bratty just like a child, but at least we know she tries to be the best.
During the events of EoSD, Cirno comfronts Reimu and Marisa along the misty lake and decides to do battle with them just because she wanted to and wanted to prove that she was the strongest fairy. Course as expected even with her lack luster spellcards, CIrno fell very quick in the battle. And so the team pressed onward.
In the events following EoSD, Cirno pretty much became a reoccuring charaters who appear in a number of Touhou games. She returned in PCB as a mid boss, a playable charater in PoFV and Hisotensoku, and then eventually became the main charater in ZUN's newest game, The Great Fairy Wars!
So how did such a minor charater so much attention from the creator?
Well the best way to put is that it invovled the fanbase..
Even though Cirno had some rather amusing spellcard in her invitory she was most remember for one of her biggest failure of a spellcard.... "Icicle Fall - Easy". When you confront this card you can simply just run up in front of Cirno and all of her danmaku will be completely ignored allowing you for an easy win. Of course in higher diffuclties, you can't do that. But either way due to this in easy mode, it made Cirno a laughable chacrater that would take form in many doujins later.
Later on ZUN makes mention of her in PoFV in reffered to her in the manual as a "baka" with a (9) next to it. This move pretty much put Cirno on the map making her a popular charater among the fans cause now not only did she have a failure of a spellcard.... but is also now labeled an idiot by her own creator.
Sure the fandom love to poke fun and try to make Cirno stupid because of this, but in truth we have remember that she's really just a bratty, overconfident fairy who thinks she's the strongest.
Most of her freetime is spent looking for frog and freezing them out of enjoyment. Just so she can watch them thawl out and start moving again. (Course that doesn't mean that all frogs survive Cirno's tourture.:P)
She also hangs out with another fairy that seem to get attention by the fanbase, but this will be introduced later....
Pretty much Cirno like all faries are apperently immortal in the realm of gensoyko as they are basiclly one with nature, so even if she were to die, she would come back sooner or later. But with the spellcard rules, there isn't much fear about death in Gensokyo.....
Fanon wise, Cirno is highly popular for the reasons I mentioned above. And many love to exploit her overconfidence and the "Stupidity" of her charater. To the point we always get (9)'s and "I am the Strongest!" Doujins also make a refference to these too, but not all of them do it as heavy as some do. :P
Either way, this is your ice fairy for you. She's definetely gotten alot of attention through her years and who knows what else could be in store for her. Wether it be in a game, in a comic, or in the doujin world. But always remember your bound to be surprised by Cirno's limitless possibilities.
