Let's me explain what Mina is doing. She was able to cut the stem of the flower without damaging the surrounding glass. She partial summoned SWORD only where she wants to cut. It's pretty neat trick since Mina can cut internal organs without damaging outside. If she can damage nerve or artery that leads to heart, she can cause people heart attack. She can cut someone's brain if she wants. If I think about it, it's quite scary...
