I used Akihiro Yamada's "Record of Lodoss War the Lady of Pharis" for a dragon reference. I love this artist. His drawing so beautiful~~. His recent work is character design for "Raxephon" and "12 Kokki (original illustration of novel)". I wish I could draw like him...
I used Kentarou Miura's "Berserk" action scenes and Naoki Urasawa's "Pineapple Army" explosion drawings and backgrounds for references. That jumping thing Mina is doing is a jump a cool swordman Yupa does in "Kaze no Tani no Nausica" by Hayao Miyazaki.
