"Rants" by Guest
(2003-08-09)

First comic is done by Sean.

From The Great Mr. Chibi:

^_^ This's my first guest comic and collaborative comic... And mein gott! Konstantin is hard to draw! His hairstyle and face really only work when drawn by Akira, soo.... Professor H. isn't that hard, though. His hair, garb, and glasses are unique enough that you can tell it's him right off the bat.

I made this with Xuanwu, he doing the script, I doing the art. It's a spoof of Megatokyo, if you couldn't tell, and take a look at the first comic, and I think I pulled it off rather well...

The girl in the Prof's arms is Rei clone #4027, 42nd platoon of the Clone Army of Carnagie Mellon, and the lady wrapped around Konstantin is Sailor Mercury. I got lazy, okay!? *sigh*

Anyway, as part of my multimedia advertising blitz, I've also got a webcomic called "RoBo -A- GoGo!", a spoof of Giant Mecha Anime, specifically the ones with the hallucinatory dreams sequences and the whiney little kid who gets "stuck" piloting a giant robot.... in short, all of them.

Xuanwu's got a much kewler site, Ask The Professor!, so visit that instead.

And remember, I'm taping you for review later!

Third comic is done by Xuanwu and here is his rants:

As much as I would like to take credit for this one, the main writing credit goes to Akira himself! He did the original script of "Dr. Konstantin" this was based on. For those of you who don't know, Dr. Konstantin is another spin-off from the "Voice Acting Project." It was thought of by Akira and involves Dr. Konstantin giving advice over the radio to various characters based on popular web comic and anime figures. Can you figure out who was being given advice this time? (I think it's fairly obvious.)

I'm hoping this comic will revive interest in the project, since it's been inactive for so long. Maybe one day it shall bear fruit!
