	| First| Prev | Next |Last | Parody Strip #38 "Akimanga-Daioh 4" (Story Arc: Akimanga-Daioh) | First| Prev | Next |Last | "Akimanga-Daioh 4" by Akira (2005-11-04) In "Azumanga-Daioh", Mr. Kimura who is portraited as a total freak ^_^; He has a beautiful wife and everyone is wondering how they got together. I'm guessing Mrs. Kimura to be a character who takes everything (even bad things) positively. Although this strip is about Mr. Kimura, I'm so relieved that I didn't have to draw him... "I love drawing cute girls, but not guys! (spoken in Mr. Kimura way)" I was wondering how English version of "Azumanga-Daioh" are drawn. 	"Moyashimon" by Akira (2005-11-05) Konstantin tends to introduce anime/doujin related topics in his rants. Totaku tends to introduce anime/FLASH related topics. So for my saturday rants, I will be introducing manga which I really really enjoyed. I think it's better to keep topics separated as possible. "Moyashimon" is about a college student who can see bacteria/fungus with his naked eyes. He enters Tokyo Agriculture College and enjoys(?) a campus life with strange professors and friends. Bacterias are very cute and manga is filled with facts/knowledge about bacteria (Mainly about fermentaion - like how alcohols are made). Manga also introduce strange fermented dish like surstromming and Inuit's kiviak. I really really enjoy reading this manga. It has been my biggest hits since "Mushishi".
