"Rants" by Akira (2003-10-02)

Usually a new manga artist works under (famous) manga artists as an assistant for a while (like a year?) before he/she becomes famous. You see some similarities between these authors (master-apprentice). Anyway, here are the "Weekly Shounen Jump" authors they were talking about.

• Tsukasa Hojo - Cat's Eye, City Hunter.
• Takehiko Inoue - Slam Dunk, Vagabond.
• Eiichirou Oda - One Piece.
• Hiroyuki Takei - Butsu Zone, Shaman King.
• Nobuhiro Watsuki - Rurouni Kenshin, Busou Renkin
• Yuusuke Murata - Eye Shield 21 (which I like)
• Kentarou Yabuki - Black Cat.
• Obata Takeshi - Hikaru no GO.

I like Haruna-san's small glasses. She looks cute and serious at same time.
