"Laika60" by Akira
(2006-11-06)

This page's drawing was completely influenced from Ramen's Suzumiya Haruhi webcomic "Tsuruya-san no Himitsu" at Nekousa Pudding website (First episode is "Tsuruya-ke no Okite"). There are other interesting Haruhi webcomics at this webcomic page. I greatly enjoyed them and it became one of my favorite webcomic. By the way, Nagato is very scary in his webcomics.

Tsuruya-ke no Okite

Kyon-kun accidentally kisses Tsuruya-san's forehead while trying to help her from falling down. According to Tsuruya family's traditional rule, a kiss on forehead means act of courtship (marriage proposal). Tsuruya-san accepts Kyon-kun's (unintentional) proposal and decides to announce their marriage to members of S.O.S.dan (her friends). Mean while...., Nagato was watching them from a corner.

Tsuruya-san no Himitsu

Haruhi can't believe Tsuruya-san's words, since she think Kyon is in love with her. Haruhi concludes their marriage is a fraud. To prove their love, Tsuruya-san performs a passionate deep kiss on Kyon-kun's forehead. Kyon-kun gets charmed by a heavenly kiss and he began to confess he's in love with Tsuruya-san's 'ponytail', etc... Haruhi can't accept Kyon-kun's confession and begans to act strange...

Second Tsuya-san's comic is still on-going. I'm still waiting for the sequel. I like his drawing, loyal love toward Tsuruya-san, and a forehead kiss.

Anime I watched/listened while I worked on this comic strip:
TitleDay123456
Black Blood BrothersMon DCB-BBB+
Rather than going for sequences of boring battles, I like the conflict between three majore forces. Restriction (can't fight/kill) makes story more interesting in my opinion.
Galaxy Angel RuneMon B-B-C+B-BC+
It wasn't too bad, but didn't enjoy it too much. It needs more twist.
KekkaishiMon B+A-A- A
Very solid episode. I'm impressed by the quality animation and story telling.
Tokimeki Memorial Only LoveTue CCCCCC+
Inukai-kun episode. It's nice that an episode was dedicated to a male character.
Pumpkin ScissorsTue A-A-A-A-A-A-
Baby panic. Short side-episode in manga was extended into one whole anime episode, which is nice remix.
Red GardenWed B-BB+?B-
I missed the fourth episode, but I was able to follow it without any problem.
Asatteno HoukouFri BB-A-A-A
Shouko-chan is moe. Very lovable episode. I love this anime's atmosphere very much.
Ayakashi AyashiSat B+B+B+BB+
Obi-Wa..., I mean, Shichiji-san was featured in this episode. Story-wise it was interesting and I want to see the next episode.
GiftSun C+C+C+B-C+
Reviews of this game very average scored (about 80 out of 100) and anime is average too.

Now with 100% less Moon language Congratulations to Mirror Moon on finishing their Tsukihime translation patch! That's a fantasy trilogy's worth of text translated, proofread, patched, and debugged over the course of two years. All that with zero internet drama and with a stance on patch distribution that's both reasonable (no CD breaking on this one) and ethical. Really, if I were in the habit of wearing hats, I'd take mine off for these guys. If I managed to spark anyone's interest, the details for getting the translation patch (and a legitimate copy of the game) can be found here. Thanks for putting in all the effort, guys, and for doing a great job while at it, best of luck with F/SN! Now if only TYPE-MOON would do a re-release of the game and save me from having to pay $300+ for the long out of print originals... >.>

And on a somewhat more serious note, for all voting-age Americans out there, do remember to go out and vote today. If nothing else, it buys you bitching privileges for the next 2 years.
