"Rants" by Akira
(2001-11-02)

I just wanted to draw a romantic scene. This was my first attempt, but I think I did pretty well (Well, what do you think?). My goal is to replicate shojo manga style, since I will be using that lot in future. What I don't understand is why Onii-chan is talking to Haruna about Professor. He knows she doesn't understand English at all... Hmm... he is baka? Anyway, Onii-chan encounters with a lot of misfortunes (problems) in this comic, but I don't feel ANY sorry for him THIS TIME! YOU, lucky bastard!!! I hate you, I hate you I hate you. How dare you take one of my (drawn) girls. I must confess that I'm feeling like a father who is sending a daughter to a wedding... Haruna... (sob sob) I'll make sure that Onii-chan will be always tortured after any romantic scenes. Ha ha ha ha ha.

This is the end of a long Haruna sequences (7 comic strips long). Haruna was a very difficult character to introduce with jokes. I'm sorry that some of the jokes weren't funny (especially first half). Jokes will get better since Haruna officially became a member of this comic by now. Konstantin, on other hand, was very easy to introduce. He had weird character which I can easily make fun of.
